Haig Point Club - Signature Course, is a Private, 20 hole golf course located in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. 2 holes can be rotated so course upkeep does not impact golfers.
The Signature Course golf course at the Haig Point Club golf facility first opened for play in 1986. The par-72 course was designed by Rees Jones.
Rees Jones, the original course architect, recently returned to restore the Signature Course to its former prominence. Renovation on the 20-hole Signature Course began in mid-February 2007. The course reopened in November of the same year. Jones' plan was not to completely reconfigure the course, which has appeared several times on Golf Digest's "America's 100 Greatest Courses" list, but to make improvements on what was already in place.
Those improvements included: greens restored to their original size and contour; more tee placements; improved bunker positioning; enhanced shot values; and better overall playability
The Signature plays to a maximum of 7,113 yards of golf for a course rating of 74.9 and a slope rating of 142.

Tough course if you play the Calibouge tees...but worth it. Haig tees which affect two holes, I believe, make it much easier. With the boat ride over and the friendly staff it makes for a great golf outing.

Great course. This course has great water vistas of the Calibogue sound. It is a very demanding course especially on the Calibogue par 3 holes. 18 is a great finishing hole par 5 that is reachable in two for the longest hitters. The best aspect is the ambiance. The course is located on an island without a bridge and no cars. It is beautiful and very relaxing. It is not crowded and pace of play is fantastic.
